Privacy policy

This covers the XXI website at xx1.lol. We collect as little as we can, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.

What stays on your device

Your results, streak and stats are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data clears them.

What we collect

Anonymous solve counts. When you lock in a path, the site sends the puzzle number and how many tiles you used, so we can show what share of players found the long way. Nothing that identifies you is attached or stored.

Daily reminder email (optional). If you sign up, we store your email address, when you signed up, an approximate location (country and city, from our hosting provider), the page that referred you, and your browser type. We use it only to send one email a day when the new grid is out. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, which deletes your address. Emails are sent through Resend.

Remove ads purchase (optional). Payment is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We never see your card details. Paddle tells us your email address and order IDs, which we keep so you can restore the purchase on another browser. The site then sets a cookie (xxi_noads) in your browser to remember that ads are removed. Paddle's own privacy policy covers the payment.

Ads

Unless you've bought Remove ads, the site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and in some regions to personalise them. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. Where the law requires it, you'll be asked for consent first.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits.

The iOS app

The XXI iOS app is covered separately by the Sassy AI privacy policy and its App Store privacy label.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from reminders at any time, clear your browser storage, or email support@averysassy.ai to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. XXI is made by Devanshu Chaudhary, trading as Sassy AI.
